I was introduced to hot glass as an artistic medium in my senior year of high school, when my school built a flameworking studio into its new (at the time) art wing. I loved it so much that I decided to go to a college with an art school that offered glassblowing. I like to work with many different media, and while I very much enjoy blowing glass, flameworking utterly fascinates me.

I am a recent graduate of Alfred University (May 2009) where I earned my BFA with a concentration in glass art. I am very interested in meeting other glass artists.
