Argh!

The pain of working in glass. I had spent 2 months working on a picture only to have accidently broken it. That is so frustrating and disappointing as it truly was my best work. Think I need a little time to pout about it before I attempt another, lol.

Oh boy, we've all been there... If one of my sculptures cracks, while working on it, I first revert back to speaking German (which I rarely do, only when I am really upset some bad German words come out). The problem is, glass only seems to crack when you almost finished that beautiful sculpture, right? After I have calmed down a bit, my stubborn nature usually forces me to start from scratch on the exact same sculpture, since glass will not master me, I will master glass!

I feel your pain too. I have had pieces with over 100 hours and cut through it or drop them and they break, I have literally sat down and cried. I hope that the next piece will make up for your loss.

I feel your pain! Im not a tough guy but i dont cry easily. glass has made me cry on several occasions and not from hurting myself! 2 months of work though im so sorry. my advise is get right back to it!
