Northern coast of CaliforniaDinah and Patty are both self taught glass artists with Dinah excelling at the lampworking torch. While Patty also does some lampworking, her artistic focus is in the area of kiln work (fusing, casting and pate de verre). Over the years, Hulet Glass has become known in the art glass world for the quality and appeal of their work.
Dinah’s incredible portrait murrine (www.dinahhulet.com) have been exhibited nationally, most recently (in 2008) at the Getty Museum in LA and the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. Her portrait work has also been represented at SOFA in New York as has Patty’s pate de verre. Not only have the sisters each lectured and taught nationally, they have both been active members of the Glass Art Society, with Dinah previously serving on the Board of Directors. The works created by Hulet Glass have been collected over the years by a small, but growing number of individuals who appreciate the beauty of each individually handmade piece of art.
