I've been working with art glass since 1974. Operated a production stained glass shop until 1988 then migrated specifically to making kiln formed work. My current pieces are called "Baskets" and "Gondolas" They are made with hundreds of indivicually hand cut pieces of colored glass, set up in a mold and fired. Then the flat designed piece is placed on a mold and fired again to form the shape of the piece. Afterward, there is much cutting and coldworking to finish them.
