Is anyone a regular subscriber to a glass art magazine or an art journal that features glass art and artists? I just ordered a copy of Glass Art Magazine in order to check it out, but I have not received it yet.
In addition, what are your favorite books on glass art? In particular, I am looking to purchase a glass kiln and start to practice warm glass techniques. Do you know any good books on glass kiln techniques?

One magazine you should check out is Glass Pattern Quaterly - lot's of projects for glass fusing and stained glass. (free copy with order from our shopping cart) They also have "The Flow" which is for lampworkers. How about one of my books "Introduction to Glass Fusing" or "Fuse It"? Many people have told me that they learned a lot with them. We also offer a nice kiln for beginners and classes in Florida. www.kaiserlee.com - Normally I don't advertise in those boards, but how else could I answer your question. I'm sure you will have fun with kiln formed glass.
Hi Petra, I bought and read your book "Introduction to Glass Fusing" and it is wonderful. Lot's of great tips and insight. I have placed little post-it bookmarks throughout the pages. This way I keep returning to it as a reference. I have just completed setting up my kiln and studio with a Skutt 1014 as the centerpiece. Soon I will be ready with my first plaster mold for a leap into kiln casting. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks for the advice.
