When I started creating glass art in 1965, there were very few resources available to learn from, and glass was not even considered an art medium yet. I am proud to see the progress we have made together over the years and to see how many great new and unique artists have chosen glass as their art medium.

Thank you for the site, Herr Frabel. It is most helpful and encouraging.

Thank you for inviting me to this site! I have been Working glass in the flame for 20 years working mostly with anciant bead techniques. I like to make moving mixed midia sculptures and just this year I took my first glass class. With Bubacco I learned new techniques that seem like magic. Sence then I have bien dreaming of doing work a bit like yours, I realize after seeing your work. I asked my boro friends if we could work together to make large hollow figures. Just a few days ago I watched your video and its just how I thought. Thank you for showing that. Have you done Life size Figures?

Congratulations on your ability to create beauty. I enjoyed watching you on our locate Educational Channel on Halloween night in Nashville, TN - but this was no trick but a wonderful TREAT.

I have recently been taking some lessons from Mr. Furhman in Woodbury, TN that I have loved so far.

I love glass and wanted to send you this poem I wrote:

CRYSTALLIZED AMORPHOUS

Translucent intriguing beauty
Flow near men
Beyond adorning Renaissance cathedrals
So airy...So thin...
She whispers on the wind
Inspiring creativity.
Twirling speeding agility...
Surging stamina...
A lovely graceful dance of glee
Breathing into moving crystalline mass
Masters grasp her significance that lasts
All may learn, but sadly few
Captivate handling this seduction they knew
Exotically sensitive, vibrant fire
Ceaseless lusts
She is Crystallized Amorphous.

Hope you enjoy reading this poem and it lifts your spirit as you have done for many, many others. Again, thank-you.

Thank you Donna. Glad to hear you liked the PBS documentary. I think the people from PBS did a great job and the documentary was actually nominated for 2 Emmy's.
