I was born and raised in California, in 1991 after visiting Hawaii and falling in love with its beauty it became my home. I began my career in glass with Maui Crystal in 2000. Continuing to grow as an artist I expanded my knowledge by attending Sundance Art Center in Santa Cruz, California (December 2002). Wanting to learn traditional concepts of glass. I spent one month in Murano, Italy ( November 2005) studying under Cesare Toffolo. Since then I have had the oportunity to take workshops from Robert Mickelsen, Janis Miltenberger and Richard LaLonde.I In 2006 I relocated to Kingston Washington hoping that the Northwest will provide as much influence for me as Hawaii did. My work is constantly changing and evolving, but I still draw my biggest influence from the Islands and Ocean that surrounded me for so long.

Jen, I just wanted to say Hi and let you know how amazing I think your work is. From composition to execution. I like how your subject is in focus and the surroundings are full of detail but softer. Cheers!

Your work is very beautiful and always seems like its in constant motion.

Thanks so much for noticing. Movement is what I love...even more than sealife. I love the challenge to keep it all going. Thank you for seeing that.

Your Welcome. I like movement in sea designs especially. Your work is full of movement.

I'm really into organic floral/marine/martian/cosmic inspired work! I really dig your work and how it flows.

Refreshing work, dig it alot!

Thanks! and thanks for tellng me about the forum. I liked the squids too but they were the least noticed at the show. They were hard to cause they were so thick and I had to attach 10 little legs on there. I think I should have done the giant squid. 8 legs and 2 longer legs/grabbers (I don't know what they are called)

Great to see you here Jen! Im loving your latest, the Kelp is awesome.
