Karmatetra is a portmanteau of "Karma" from Sanskrit and "tetra" from Latin. I intend to synthesize the best of both Eastern and Western philosophies and aesthetics. Karmatetra means "four actions." Be Generous , Be Compassionate, Be Patient, and Be Intelligent.

My art pieces are objects of meditation. Contemplation of glass art frees the mind to transcend the mundane view. Glass art exists at the nexus of time and space, light and motion. The dynamic nature of the glass art experience challenges the art patron to develop a synthesis of external and internal observations.

The manipulation of form, space, color, light, movement, texture, transparency, reflection, luminosity and radiance are all part of the glass artist's palette. Art, science, and technology are not independent endeavors. Each benefits from the other. In a similar manner, the artist, the art and the patron interdependently exist.
