The engraving depicts the exquisite stone sculptures and carving on the exterior wall of one of the famous Khajuraho Temples in Central India. The hand engraving has been done on both surfaces of the glass to get 3 D effect, by using a rotary tool with various shapes of diamond burrs of varying grit size to achieve the desired effect in the engraving. The engraved glass has been mounted on a wooden base for display purpose only. The photographs show in sequential order, the engraved glass mounted on a wooden base, the engraving itself, engraved portion done on the front face and the engraved portion done on the reverse face of the glass.
